Romantic Pointe D’Vine Wedding

This past weekend I traveled to the southern Illinois to photograph Brian and Kristen’s wedding. Oh my, friends, talk about wedding goals!

My purple-loving heart was overjoyed with every beautiful detail at Brian and Kristen’s romantic Pointe D’Vine wedding in Quincy, Illinois. Kristen put together the dream team when it came to wedding vendors. Abby with Lavish Floral Design outdid herself! Purple hued bouquets and succulents, upon succulents. I only wish I could be surrounded by such pretty flowers all day, every day!  Kristen was an absolute princess in her romantic ivory ballgown dress from Frews Bridal.

Their day was filled with classy hints of Disney themes. Kristen, a true Disney-lover wanted to include her favorites in her day and did so in the most tasteful way. Small trinkets placed around their ceremony and reception sites brought forth a subliminal disney feel. When Brian proposed, he did so at Disney World with a custom-made Beauty and the Beast inspired ring box. How sweet! Some of my absolute favorite details were Kristen’s rose jewelry Brian got for her and their cake topper. The gorgeous three-tiered cake by Sweet & Flour Cakes  was topped with an elegant cut-out that read “Tale as Old as Time.” How sweet!

The personal touches just kept flowing through the day. Their sweet pup, Maggie, was their flower dog. She proudly dashed down the aisle with her basket. Cutest. Thing. Ever. Outside the reception was a sign hand-painted by Kristen’s mom. It feature arrows pointing to all of the Disney magical lands. LOVE!

Beautiful details aside, these two were the dream couple. The love they share is so sweet. They understand each other. While Brian is strong and sensible, his love towards Kristen is tender. Kristen, a paegent beauty, isn’t afraid to pursue adventures she and Brian can do together–like hunting! I couldn’t have asked for a more gracious couple. These two rolled through their day with ease, letting nothing discourage them!

Brian and Kristen, you guys are incredible. I love your story and I love you! You’re the perfect pair for each other and I couldn’t be happier to capture every single special moment for you! Thank you for your grace. It is always a pleasure when I get to be with you! Enjoy being married to your best friend!
