Ames Engagement Session | Allison and Carson

What a wonderful start to the spring season with a session for Allison and Carson at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. The sun was shining and it truly felt like we’ve left the winter season behind and can begin embracing all the newness of spring. Carson and Allison were such a joy to work with. Their comfort with each other is where the real magic comes from.

As a photographer, I’ve found that the best, most enjoyable sessions are the ones like this where all expectations are put aside and there is freedom to just enjoy the moment. It’s less about what you wear, having the perfect location or poses, and way more about the people. These two were not afraid to be a bit silly and laugh real laughs together as they spun around on the campus lawn. It was all pure joy!

Allison and Carson, I can tell you two are excited about your upcoming marriage! Celebrating with all your friends and family this summer is going to be such a delight. I can’t wait to enjoy the day rejoicing in your new life together!
