Wedding at Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City

Elise and Will’s wedding at the Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City was an absolute blast to be a part of! From the very first time Elise and I chatted on the phone, I knew we were going to hit it off. Our “quick call” turned into a 45-minute chat about everything—wedding plans, flowers, and even her upcoming birthday (which is just a few days after mine!). I knew right then and there that we were going to be fast friends.

Elise is one of those people who just radiates joy. She’s bubbly, fun, and her sweet personality shines through in every single photo. Her vision for the day? A garden party! She let her bridesmaids choose dresses in a variety of colors, and the flowers from Willow & Stock looked like they were plucked straight from the garden.

After a beautiful ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church, Elise and Will did something incredibly special—they made a pit stop to visit her grandmother at the assisted living home. This sweet gesture totally melted my heart. Even though her grandma couldn’t make it to the ceremony, Elise made sure to include her in the celebration. It was a moment I’ll never forget.
