Engagement Photos at Water Works in Des Moines

I see an engagement session as a great chance to get to know my couples before we spend an entire day together. For me, these sessions are very relaxed, with very little pressure on you as the couple. I want you to feel comfortable and really rely on each other during this time. That’s when the most honest photos happen. The ones that show an essence of your life together.

For Maddie and Christian, we kept the session moving as we strolled around Water Works Park in Des Moines. Natural, almost unnoticed interactions are what I’m always looking for while we walk and talk. As we kept shooting, more and more playfulness became evident between them. I’m looking forward to celebrating their wedding day with them next spring!
