Emerald Hills Pink & Green Wedding Inspiration

Oh you guys, I’m finally sharing photos from the most gorgeous shoot I attended back in October! Last fall was crazy with weddings and moving, so now I’m finally getting caught up on projects like this that are just for me and my personal growth as a photographer 🙂

Wayyy before the pandemic was a thing, I signed up for a styled shoot with Styled Shoots Across America. I’ve followed Heather Benge and her work for years. When I saw she was hosting a shoot right here in Iowa at the beautiful Emerald Hills Events, I rushed to get signed up ASAP! This was not an opportunity I wanted to miss!

Heather’s inspiration for this shoot was filled with pink and lots of emerald green (how perfect for Emerald Hills?!), which was a fun color combo I don’t see very often! An especially fun part of this shoot for me was getting to work with some of my very favorite Iowa vendors!

Shelly Sarver brought the garden to this shoot! The gorgeous asymmetrical ceremony arrangement was the perfect mix of modern and garden wedding styles. I particularly love the elevated floral table centerpiece! All the garden feels, while still being able to see everyone at your table! These designs were incredible and so fun to shoot! Shelly always brings uniquely beautiful floral designs to everything she does! Her beautiful garden-esque flowers paired with Borrow My Vintage‘s luxury furniture made for the perfect seating area! This cozy little spot in front of the fireplace would be perfect for guests to settle in and enjoy a drink!

Best bonus vendor — Charlotte the drink burro! How cute is she all decked out in flowers?! I think we could all use more burros at weddings! She was so sweet!
