Ames Couple Mini Session Day

When Joey and I decided to travel to Ames for the day, I was unsure about what to do while he was at an appointment. I would have hours of free time with nothing to do. So, what better to do than schedule a few mini sessions with sweet friends?! I called up my bestie, Ashtin, to see if she and her hubby were free. Not only were they free, but her friends Amanda and Anthony were game for me photographing them a little!

We met in downtown Ames, which is one of my absolute favorite downtown locations for couples. Amanda and Anthony have been married just under a year, but they’ve been together for much longer. These high school sweethearts flow so well together, and photographing them was a dream. Amanda has the sweetest giggle, it surely had me smiling!

The next couple is one of my absolute favorite couples ever! Ashtin and I have been friends since 8th grade. We rode horses together, played flute together, and involved at the same church together. Our first year at Iowa State we even roomed together! When she met Nathaniel, he only complimented all of her good traits. You won’t find many couples that work better together than these two!
