Anniversary Session at Moore Park in Ames, Iowa

What a joyful week it has been, celebrating not one but two anniversary sessions! After capturing the love between Hannah and Peter, I had the pleasure of photographing Lucy and Will at Moore Park in Ames. These two were a delight—fun, playful, and full of laughter. Our session was light-hearted and effortless, filled with genuine connection and conversation.

Lucy and Will brought such a vibrant energy to their session. We started our shoot at Moore Park, where their playful interactions filled every frame with laughter and lightheartedness.

After our time at the park, we decided to continue the fun at Dairy Queen. Watching Lucy and Will share ice cream cones was so fun. The ice cream melted quickly and began running down their hands, which led to spontaneous laughter and attempts to eat the cones as fast as possible.

I always love when my couples incorporate something fun they enjoy doing together into their session. It makes the photos more meaningful and authentic. Why not document what you truly love doing together? Real memories are created from genuine interactions, not just stationary poses in a field.
