Emily and Griffin’s Sanibel, Florida Wedding

I recently had the joy of traveling to Sanibel, Florida to celebrate Emily and Griffin’s beach wedding! My friend, Hunter Berry, asked if I would help photograph their wedding since she had the honor of being both photographer and bridesmaid. I didn’t hesitate to say yes! I’ve been dreaming of traveling to new places to photograph destination weddings. This was my first taste of photography travel and I loved it!

Emily and Griffin planned a simple, yet perfect intimate beach wedding surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their beachy look was complete with relaxed suits, no shoes and a swath of bright sunset-colored dresses. Onlookers couldn’t help but pause for a moment to catch a few words of their heartfelt ceremony. Joy is the only word fitting for the look on everyone’s faces as they made their way back down the aisle. I couldn’t help but smile as Griffin’s parents danced back down the aisle — this is what wedding days are all about!
