Galena Wedding | Taylor and Jim

It felt so good to photograph a wedding after a long hiatus while I was pregnant. Last year was a very full wedding year, so I am savoring each wedding at a slower pace this season. I’ve had time to reflect on why it is that I shoot weddings. Like, really down to the bones of why do we photograph weddings? The people. The relationships. All to be passed down to future memories.

Taylor and Jim made their day all about the people. They planned special moments throughout the day with the people they love. My focus was capturing those relationships throughout the day. A quick hand hold. The flower girl leaning into the aisle to catch a glimpse of Taylor. These are the fleeting moments that will always take them back to what this day felt like.
