Katherine and Eddie’s Luther College Engagement

I am so excited to photograph Katherine and Eddie’s wedding celebration next year! We captured their engagement session at Luther College — right at the peak of autumn radiance. All of the trees in Decorah were showing off their best colors in the brilliant evening light. Eddie and Katherine were up for anything, even if that meant going with my crazy idea of laying on the ground for one specific image. These two have such a classic elegance about them. It was so fun capturing them in one of their favorite places on this perfect night!

Katherine and Eddie, I’m so glad we got to do this session in a place that means so much to both of you! Thank you for showing me some of your favorite spots on campus. I think we lucked out with one of the last perfect fall days of the year — it was meant to be!
