Emma and Nathan’s wedding day brought me back to a more nostalgic time of weddings. Emma got ready in her childhood bedroom while Nathan prepared at the church. Family and friends were buslting around all morning making sure everything was ready.
With limited light available in the winter months, we took a lot of their photos on the go as things happened. There’s such a natural flow to a wedding day like this. Nothing is staged, nothing is fake. It’s all genuine and heartfelt.
After their ceremony, they celebrated with cake and punch in the church foyer. They wanted to allow their guests the option of attending the New Years Eve service without missing out on the celebrating. Those who were able to stay headed down to the basement for a meal and dancing as they awaited the new year.
