Red Barn at Pine Creek Iowa Wedding

Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe we’re already to October and I’m starting my busiest season yet (6 weddings in 5 weeks!)! Today I get to share Bobby and Nicole’s Red Barn at Pine Creek Iowa wedding with you! The last time I was with these two, it was right before everything shut down in March. We came right here to the Red Barn for their engagement session! Just like that day, their wedding day was a little chilly and overcast, but so beautiful!

You can clearly see how much Bobby loves Nicole. I mean, take a look at any one of their photos — you’ll see it! They wrote their own vows, which were really much more like love letters. When Nicole and Bobby dated in high school, they’d talk on the phone before bed, trying to make it to 11:11 to make a wish. Nicole ended her vows with the sweetest words, “you will forever be my 11:11 wish.” Does it get any sweeter than that??

For their speeches, her sisters brought out old notes Bobby had written Nicole in high school (that she saved all this time!) They read a few endearing lines from Bobby’s high school heart, which was so sweet, and maybe slightly embarrassing (for him)! I definitely agree with high school Bobby though, Nicole should’ve ranked higher than 60% on his Matchomatics!!

Their love was so fun to capture! We made good use of the picturesque views at Red Barn at Pine Creek and even got to sneak in a few photos in the beautiful reception space decorated by Unique Events before anyone else! We had the most beautiful day, even with a sprinkle of rain! Right as supper began, the sun peeked out from behind the clouds. We ran out for a couple of sunset photos with just minutes to spare before the sun sank below the horizon!

Bobby and Nicole, thank you so much for a wonderful day — I love you guys! You made my job so easy. I’m in love with every single photo from your wedding (hello big photo gallery!)! Your story is beautiful. All those who know you, know your story and tell it so well! It was an honor to be a part of this special day celebrating your love!
