After two years of meticulous planning, Angela and Ethan finally saw their dream wedding come to life at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Coralville, beautifully planned and coordinated by Soiree. The day began with the couple getting ready at the hotel. They shared an intimate moment on the back patio, a quiet prelude to the whirlwind of celebration ahead. As they walked back through the lobby, they were greeted by the warmth and smiles of family and guests who had begun to gather, eagerly awaiting the shuttles to the church.

The day’s events unfolded rapidly once the ceremony began at St. Patrick’s Church in Iowa City. The atmosphere was charged with emotion and anticipation. Following the heartfelt mass, we captured some timeless portraits in front of the church, with Angela and Ethan basking in their newlywed glow. Angela and Ethan’s guests enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour outside the Hyatt Regency before the reception commenced. The couple chose to greet their guests personally, in lieu of a traditional receiving line, adding a personal touch to the evening.

One of the most memorable highlights of the reception was the anniversary dance. While these dances are common at weddings, this one stood out. Ethan’s grandparents, the winning couple, celebrated an incredible 72 years of marriage. Watching them smile and hold hands on the dance floor was deeply moving. Their enduring love is a testament to the kind of marriage we should all aspire to — one that lasts.
